If you truly want to stop smoking, you can do it now just as thousands of people have by using the power of your own mind. If you are serious about being a non-smoker, these steps will seem easy for you. You can call it whatever you want to, Self Hypnosis, mind over matter, or just will power. When you follow the easy steps below, you can and will be a NON-SMOKER, it does not matter if you have been smoking for one year or fifty years. You will be a NON-SMOKER when you follow the simple steps below completely. If you are serious, these steps will be easy for you.



Most people in the past have tried to stop using medication or gadgets (patches, gum etc.). These methods usually do not work. If they did, you would not be reading this now. The reason that the other methods do not work is, smoking is a habit that is in the subconscious mind, and it can only be changed at the subconscious mind level. There is no other way to stop. It is not a physical addiction, it is a mental addiction (a habit). As you continue reading this, you are becoming a NON-SMOKER. You probably have heard that people who stop smoking begin to gain weight. Well, that is true, except in our case, we program you to stop smoking and at the same time we program you not to substitute food for your old habit. We get rid of the habit, we do not change it for another bad habit.Stop Smoking is about your determination to reclaiming your own power and control, it is done in your deeper subconscious mind.

Smokers have many reasons to smoke. Some to relax, some to become alert, etc. There are many excuses to smoke, but in reality the reasons only justify in our mind the unwanted habit of smoking. In order to keep our sanity, our minds must find a reason for what we do, it must justify our actions, no matter what. Nicotine is not good for anyone, it is a powerful poison, it makes people sick and slows them down. That is a fact. You are now a NON-SMOKER, you can now relax peacefully by yourself without any distractions.

1. In order to stop smoking, as with any habit, you must alter your lifestyle. Start with changing things in your life that TRIGGER those old feelings. Remove all ashtrays, eat your meals in a different location (or chair), re-locate the telephone, your car keys (keep them in a different pocket) and any other things that tend to trigger you old habit.

2. In addition to removing those things, move other things that do not effect your old habit, such as the place that you keep your toothbrush, your shoes, your clothes. Make as many changes in your life style as you feel comfortable doing. These changes will keep your subconscious mind constantly aware that you now are a non-smoker.

3. Get excited about your life . As a non-smoker, you can do many more active things. You even look better. Find a new hobby or get active in an old hobby or interest that you have been putting off for a long time. Feel proud about your new self, keep busy and feel proud about having control of your life. There is no question that you have this ability to control your life. You will notice an increase in energy.

4. Obtain an audio recorder, such as a tape deck, or audio program in your computer. If you have an audio program in your computer, you could make a CD. In either case, you need to make a recording using the script below:

After completing the recording, listen to it once during the day in a quiet comfortable place, and again in evening as you go to sleep. It is recommended that you use lightweight or comfortable earphones. You will find that you will go to sleep quickly and you will sleep soundly. After about three weeks, you will want to listen less frequently, as you feel the need. This recording will help you sleep soundly.

Begin recording, speak slowly --- ---- Take a deep breath, close your eyes, now as you breath out, let your body relax. How good it feels to relax. Now focus your attention on your feet and legs, and allow them to relax completely, do not allow anything to distract you, just concentrate on relaxation. Now allow that relaxed feeling to come up your legs to your hips. Now your hands, your hands and arms, relax, relax. Take a deep breath now, and notice how good it feels to breath in fresh air, just what your body needs to relax, clean fresh air, relax, relax. Now relax your head, your scalp, your face muscles, even your chin, and now your neck muscles, relax, relax. Now breath in again, and as you slowly let the air out, let your shoulders relax, completely relax. And now, relax your whole body, breath in, let it out slowly, and relax totally and completely. Now as I count from 10 down to 1, relax even more completely. 10, let it out, relax, good.. 9, relaxing totally. 8, breath in, hold it for a moment, 7, breath out, perfect. 6, letting go now. 5, relaxing completely. That's good, 4, all the way now. 3, let it go, all the way. 2, relaxing totally. 1, all the way down now, relaxing all theway.

Now that you are totally relaxed, notice how good it feels. It feels good to be in control, and it feels good to be a non-smoker, say that to yourself , out loud if you want to, "I am a non-smoker" and let it feel good.

As a non-smoker you are going to do positive things from now on. There are many positive things you can do to keep active and healthy. And there are many positive things to eat and drink to maintain that healthy proud feeling of being a non-smoker. You can eat good fruits and vegetables, and you can drink healthy liquids, and you desire plain clear water. You enjoy exercising moderately and comfortably. This new lifestyle is exciting, it makes you feel energetic, it makes you feel good, and sleep well, life is exciting now. Say this to yourself or out loud "I am in control, I am a non-smoker"

Those old reasons for smoking are gone now, gone forever. You are now a non-smoker. Those old habits have been replaced with new ideas, healthy ideas, and healthy habits, and a wonderful feeling of pride and happiness. You are now excited about your new healthy lifestyle. You are in control. You are a non-smoker, and you will remain a non smoker for the rest of your life.

Say "I am excited about my new life, I am in control" and notice how good it feels as you say that. (pause) As you relax now, more and more, you will enjoy life more and more. You are surprised and amazed that this new life style feels so good and makes you feel so proud to be a non smoker.

Say, I am a non-smoker, and I will remain a non-smoker for the rest of my life (Pause)

You feel proud of yourself and in control when you see someone else smoking. You even notice a feeling of sadness for the other smoker, they are out of control. As you notice that they are out of control, it makes you feel even more in control, more relaxed, more peaceful and calm. You have discovered that power within yourself . You are amazing, you are magnificent, and you are wonderful. Say to yourself or out loud "I am a non-smoker, and I will remain a non-smoker for the rest of my life".

Think back now, think back to a time, to a situation in the past that you would have desired a smoke, and notice as you think back, that old desire is not there, it has been replace with a "proud in control feeling". You are now a non-smoker, and you will remain a non smoker for the rest of your life.

And now as I count, you will remain relaxed, calm and peaceful, with a wonderful feeling about your new found in "control self." You can now allow yourself to sleep peacefully, or to awaken in a few minutes feeling wonderful and full of energy. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. End of recording.
